Barry's 1990 325iX started to have speedometer/odometer
problems in the mornings. The speedometer would stay fixed at 0mph and the odometer
would not advance. The problem worsened with the onset of Fall and
cooler mornings. The speedometer and odometer would usually start working normally after about 5 to
10 minutes. The next cold start resulted in a repeat of the problem.
